Left Zero Ammeter. How does it work?
The left zero ammeter is a simple gauge that measures the load on the alternator it's very important for the pilot to understand this gauge as it can indicate a potential problem in the aircraft's electrical system on this diagram the alternator is a device that generates electrical current it's mechanically driven by the aircraft's engine so it only works when the engine is on the busbar is the distribution center of current to the aircraft's electrical systems such as lights radios and instruments.
