Eagle Flight Training
Eagle Flight Training was established in May 2004 and is accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and holds Part 141 Certification with New Zealand CAA.
Eagle Flight Training is headquartered at Gisborne Airport, Gisborne. The School uses modern Lecture and Briefing Rooms and has an Operations Room in close proximity to the Training Aircraft. The School operates at a Controlled Airport.
We operate a fleet comprised of popular and effective Single and Twin-engine Training Aircraft – Diamond DA20 with G500, Diamond DA40 with G1000 and Piper PA30 for multi-engine training. We also operate a REDBIRD Synthetic Flight Simulator with a G1000 panel for Instrument and MCC Training.
Eagle Flight Training instructional staff include Category A, B and C flight instructors whom collectively have 50,000+ flying hours between them. The team offers not only enormous practical experience but also very strong theoretical and academic competence.
We specialize in training international students to an advanced level as a pre-cursor to entry into the aviation industry. The aviation school provides flight and ground training schemes from Ab Initio level Private Pilot License through to Commercial Pilot License including Single-engine and Multiengine Type Ratings, Single-engine and Multi-engine Instrument Ratings, ATPL Theory, Multi Crew Co-ordination (MCC) courses and the New Zealand Diploma in Aviation.
